Mangia, Mangia! That’s Italian for “to eat” and in the title of a Cooking Channel episode Wednesday featuring Cantoro’s Italian Market in Plymouth.
The episode, Mangia Meals, was filmed two years ago and will air at 9 p.m. on the Food Paradise show. Mangia Meals, takes a tour of Italy at several places throughout in the country without leaving the states, according to the episodes description .

When the episode was filmed in July 2018, Alex Bazzy, the restaurant’s general manager, told the Free Press the film crew would focus mainly on the restaurant within the market.
Cantoro’s 55,000-square-foot Plymouth market opened in March 2014. Inside the Italian specialty market is a bakery, meat, deli and pasta counter, prepared meals and more. The trattoria is open for lunch and dinner and seats 80. There’s also a location in Livonia on Middlebelt Road.
A Cantoro Italian Trattoria opened in June 2018 behind Troy’s San Marino Club at 1695 E. Big Beaver Road. It closed after just more than a year in operation.
The Cantoro brand was founded by Mario Fallone. The second-generation family business is owned by brothers John and Michael Fallone.
